Park Lane Harbour

A New Chapter…

My travel photography has returned to China. I am a long way from the previous location spent here, when I lived in Shanghai. This time I find myself at Park Lane Harbour, a relatively quiet holiday area in Daya Bay, close to Shenzhen. Street photography is once more on the cards. However, the ‘street’ in this case will often be the local beach.

Colour Schemes

Maybe my photography is currently influenced by Barbie Movie mania, as pink and blue are the two complimentary colours I am seeking. This colour combination is sure to stay on my shot list, although I am not sure how I can continue this theme away from the beach. Maybe more people can dress their dogs up like the one below.

A Long Term Project

Park Land Harbour is going to be my home for the foreseeable future, and I am picking my way through possible ways of covering the Bay. Individual shots are fun, but projects are more rewarding. Could colour schemes alone make a project? Watch this space, and maybe some answers will emerge. As for now, one more blue and pink pic!

Do you have any ideas for long term projects? Let me know your thoughts in the comment section below. As for now, I’m off to the beach.

Take care and keep clicking, Chris
